Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (“Camelot”) and DarKnight Pictures (“DKP”) announced today that a deal has been concluded for the domestic release of the action/comedy POOLBOY: DROWNING OUT THE FURY with Screen Media Films (“SMF”). The film, starring Kevin Sorbo (“Hercules, The Legendary Journeys,” Soul Surfer), Danny Trejo (Machete, Predators), Jason Mewes (Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Clerks), is tentatively scheduled to be released in early 20 12.

“It’s a spoof within a spoof,” stated Michael Kananack Camelot’s Co-President. “And with Screen Media’s great experience releasing action/comedy titles, I really can see this film becoming a cult classic.”

SMF distributes independent films theatrically and to television, as well as releases DVDs through Universal Home Entertainment. Since 2001, SMF has released over 200 home video titles including Sherrybaby starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Super High Me featuring comedian Doug Benson.

‘POOLBOY,’ A Common Thread Production, written and produced by Ross Patterson and directed by Garrett Brawith, is the story of a Vietnam vet (Sorbo) who returns home to California to take back his rightful vocation as a Poolboy, while seeking revenge for the death of his family.
